Demonstrates how the earth turns in true speed. The actuator turns 30 degrees every minute. Every hour a short tune was played. The kids (10 and 7) were curious enough to check once in a while during the day how things progressed with the planet. They were actually the ones who posed the question: "How fast is the earth turning?"

In the evening we used a torch to simulate the sun, but, of course the motion was too slow to be thrilling.
